Artificial intelligence (AI) already determines our everyday life today: whether by means of speech recognition, social media feeds, or purchase recommendations. But what does AI actually have to do with gender equality? EAF Berlin and erfolgsfaktor FRAU Nürnberg take up the link between the two topics and provide space for information, discussion, and a critical look ahead.

To this end, they have conceived a series of events under the patronage of Dorothee Bär, Minister of State for Digitization. The event starts with a digital kick-off: Women* and Artificial Intelligence - Gender Policy Changes through New Technologies.

When: 16th of October 2020, 5:20 - 7:15 p.m.
Where: Online

From 6:55 p.m. in the panel on Civil Society & Politics, the director of the Harriet Taylor Mill Institute, Prof. Dr. Aysel Yollu-Tok (Equality Commission), among others, will give important impulses on the topic and stimulate discussion.
